Beeswax is the secretion of four pairs of wax glands under the abdomen of worker bees. Its main components are: acids, free fatty acids, free fatty alcohols and carbohydrates.

In addition, there are carotenoids, vitamin A, aromatic substances and so on.

White beeswax

White beeswax is made from yellow beeswax after special decolorization and other processes. Due to processes such as refining, impurity removal, and decolorization, the surface is white and the smell is relatively lighter than yellow beeswax.

Yellow Beeswax, also known as beeswax, is an organic mixture secreted by worker beeswax glands. The oil extracted from beeswax is
granular and has a yellow surface.

It has good compatibility with all other natural wax greases.

Beeswax has strong toughness, high hardness, fast solidification, and burns without smoke The combination of beeswax and soybean wax can increase the hardness and gloss of the candle, making the finished product rich in luster and good texture. It can also be used alone to make wax chips, rod wax, and silicone molds that are difficult to demold. Melting point： 60℃

Refractive index: (75℃) Acid value: 16.0～23.0 Saponification value: 85～100. Iodine value: 8.0-13.0.

The recommended mold temperature depends on the specific application.

It is recommended to put 3-4g of essential oil in 100g of beeswax.

I bought this because it's natural and no additives. I make homemade lotion with this beeswax. Smells natural and feel great as lotion. Doesn't make my skin breakout.
